Chief Financial Officer

Hamilton Health Center, Inc., a FQHC servicing residents in Central Pennsylvania, is currently recruiting a Chief Financial Officer. As a key member of the senior management team, this successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing potential business growth opportunities and providing strategic and fiscal leadership by establishing long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies.  The successful candidate will oversee fiscal operations of the Center, fee for service billing and patient accounting, and managed care claims processing. The position requires strong financial management and in-depth knowledge of health care billing (medical required – dental preferred). The selected candidate must be able to demonstrate prior successful development and implementation of business and strategic plans and demonstrate financial management knowledge of community based health care services, with experience in clinical or not-for-profit service delivery organizations, and familiarity with third-party reimbursement systems and cost reporting. The selected candidate will manage effectively and foster a cooperative work environment and facilitate team initiatives. Must have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds. Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree preferred, in related field and at least 5 years financial management experience preferably in a not-for-profit health/dental/social services industry. Chief Operations Officer

Hamilton Health Center, Inc., a FQHC servicing residents in Central Pennsylvania, is currently recruiting a Chief Operations Officer. The selected candidate will be   responsible for the operations of satellite and main location, ensuring compliance with federal requirements and internal policies and procedures. The position will have direct operational management responsibilities for non-provider staff and responsibilities of improving health center processes, setting clear expectations and providing mentorship to other levels of management. The COO will actively participate in the implementation of the Medical Home Certification and Accountability Contract Organizations. Through a respectful, constructive and energetic style, guided by the objectives of company, the COO provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. The position is responsible for implementing the service delivery, business and administrative support operations in accordance with the plans, policies and standards of the corporation.

Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of community based health care services, with experience in clinical administration or not for profit service delivery organizations and have strong technical skills in system deliveries. Must be able to manage effectively and foster a cooperative work environment and facilitate team initiatives. Must have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds. Must be a self-starter, demonstrating the ability to complete projects from beginning to end with minimal supervision.  Also must be able to establish and maintain harmonious, productive working relationships with Center’s management, physicians, clinicians, and general public.

Must have Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s degree preferred) in business administration, community health or related field and have prior managerial oversight of information technology services as well as at least 10 years progressive management experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting, or any combination of appropriate education and experience deemed suitable to successfully meet job responsibilities. Experience in managing a federally qualified health center or other non-profit healthcare facility, preferred.

CRNP - Pediatrics

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting a CRNP, full time with focus on Pediatrics Services.   This healthcare provider position operates independently in a variety of settings, combining advanced nursing skills with clinical, diagnostic, and treatment skills, making professionally autonomous decisions for which he/she is accountable, under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer. The incumbent provides primary healthcare alongside services provided by Practitioners, acting as an advocate to directly increase the availability and accessibility of healthcare for pediatric patients.  Bi-Lingual Spanish preferred. Registered Nurse – Adult Med

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting a Registered Nurse for our Adult Medical Department. The qualified candidates will provide clinical support for the administrative and clinical needs of the providers, assuring efficient operational support and providing nursing care support for Providers. The positions reports to the Chief Clinical Manager and will supervise clinical staff and supervise Care Coordinators in the respective department of patient healthcare outcomes.

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school, successfully completing state board and have license to practice as a Register Nurse in the Commonwealth of PA. At least two years’ experience in patient care and one year of supervisory experience is required. Must be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds and be comfortable working with individuals with HIV disease. Must have ability to work independently with little direct supervision, and also be a team player within the department, reflecting strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to establish and maintain harmonious, productive working relationships with Center’s management, physicians, clinicians, and general public. Prior work experience or familiarity with clinical based centers is a plus.

Case Manager

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting for a Case Manager to work under the guidelines of the Healthy Start program beginning in January 2015. This position assists with recruiting program participants and provides case management support services to pregnant women, post-partum women, infants and children.

Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in human services or have a related degree, preferably holding a degree in social work.  At least two years’ experience as a case worker preferred. Candidates must have current updated child abuse clearances, and FBI clearance, and a valid driver’s license to enable proper transport of clients, bi-lingual Spanish speaking preferred.

Administrative Assistant

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to work under the guidelines of the Greater Harrisburg Healthy Start program. This position provides administrative support and includes preparing correspondence, grants support, presentation and reports development, maintaining website and Facebook account, maintaining service agreements and event scheduling.

Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate knowledge of special health care services, with experience in clinical or non-profit service delivery organizations preferred. Must be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds and have a good understanding of the challenges faced by the population the program serves. Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must be a self-starter demonstrating the ability to complete projects from beginning to end with minimal supervision.  Also must be a team player with strong organizational and communication skills, able to establish and maintain harmonious, productive working relationships with Center’s management, physicians, clinicians, and general public. Educational qualifications include a high school degree and experience in the area of administrative support of at least two years. Medical Assistant

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting an experienced Medical Assistant to help support our growing Clinical Departments. This position provides assistance to Providers with direct patient care in an ambulatory care clinic setting under the supervision of a team leader, including initial patient triage, registration, and administrative services, assists with direct patient care, and performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature, as dictated by established clinical protocol.

Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate knowledge of health care services, including understanding of MA role and have excellent medical terminology knowledge and basic data entry computer skills. Must be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds, be industrious and have good communication skills. Also must be able to establish and maintain harmonious, productive working relationships with Center’s management, physicians, clinicians, and general public. Must be a graduate of accredited medical assistant program and be CPR Certified or able to obtain certification within 6 months of job placement. Must have experience as Medical Assistant, be able to handle moderate physical activity, including handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day. Must be able to speak and listen over the telephone. Bi-lingual, Spanish required. Must be able to work some evening and other extended hours as needed.

Dental Assistant

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting a Dental Assistant for our growing Dental Department. The successful candidate will provide assistance to Dental Providers with direct patient care at a community based dental center/ and/or school based center under the supervision of the Office Manager – Dental. Patient population includes all age groups with varied dental hygiene history and dental treatments.

Must be a graduate of accredited dental assistant program and be CPR Certified or able to obtain certification within 6 months of job placement. Must have current X-Ray Certification. Must be able to handle moderate physical activity, including handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day. At least one years experience preferred. Must be able to work in a community based clinical environment and rotate to School Based setting when required by the Center and satisfactorily pass background screening including child abuse clearance. Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. Will work with blood or blood-borne pathogens and will require OSHA training. Bi-Lingual Spanish preferred. Must be able to work some evening and other extended hours as needed.

Billing Specialist-Certified Coder

Hamilton Health Center, Inc, a Federally Qualified Health Care center servicing residents in Central Pennsylvania, is currently recruiting for a certified Billing Coder Specialist.  The successful candidate must be a certified coder with credentialing from AAPC or AHIMA and have excellent knowledge of health care clinical operations and have the ability to communicate effectively with employees, patients and insurance company representatives.

Qualified candidates should have an Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school; be a Certified Coder, at least one to two years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to billing and collection operations in a medical clinical site setting.

Customer Service Patient Registration

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting for call center help in our Medical Registration Department. The purpose of this position is to schedule patient appointments, manage the Providers’ schedules in all medical departments according to set protocol of each department and direct all incoming calls of the PBX in a manner that will enhance corporate image and increase customer satisfaction.

Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of health care services, have excellent verbal and communication skills, have strong computer skills and able to work with high degree of accuracy in a high paced environment. Must be able to handle work related stress in a positive manner and able to apply critical thinking skills in problem solving, be dependable, reliable and professional. Must be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds and be able to establish and maintain harmonious, productive working relationships with Center’s management, physicians, clinicians, and general public.  Able to work some evenings and other extended hours as needed
