Chief Financial Officer

Hamilton Health Center, Inc., a FQHC servicing residents in Central Pennsylvania, is currently recruiting a Chief Financial Officer. As a key member of the senior management team, this successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing potential business growth opportunities and providing strategic and fiscal leadership by establishing long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies.  The successful candidate will oversee fiscal operations of the Center, fee for service billing and patient accounting, and managed care claims processing. The position requires strong financial management and in-depth knowledge of health care billing (medical required – dental preferred). The selected candidate must be able to demonstrate prior successful development and implementation of business and strategic plans and demonstrate financial management knowledge of community based health care services, with experience in clinical or not-for-profit service delivery organizations, and familiarity with third-party reimbursement systems and cost reporting. The selected candidate will manage effectively and foster a cooperative work environment and facilitate team initiatives. Must have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds. Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree preferred, in related field and at least 5 years financial management experience preferably in a not-for-profit health/dental/social services industry. Pediatrician

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting a Pediatrician to start employment in first quarter 2015. Successful provider will diagnose and provide full range of pediatric services in an non-ambulatory care center. Must have MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) plus appropriate residency/fellowship training and have (or be eligible for) PA medical license and board certified, and have up to date child abuse and FBI clearances. Dentist

Hamilton Health Center has an immediate opening for a Dentist. Successful provider will provide efficient delivery of quality dental care to all patients of the Center.  Delivers standard dental care to patients utilizing the current dental processes of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interact with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standard of professional provider care.  Must be a graduate from an ADA accredited dental school with a DDS or DMD degree, hold a current or renewable PA dental license, have an unblemished record of licensure with the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry, have a current DEA or CPR certification, be FTCA eligible, able to be credentialed in the corporate credentialing programs and insurance plans and have at least five (5) years of dental practice experience in the private or public sector.  Incumbent must be flexible to meet the physical activity requirements and must be flexible for call coverage. Must have current child abuse and FBI clearances. Bi-Lingual Spanish preferred.

Social Worker/Intake Specialist

Hamilton Health Center, Inc., a health care center servicing residents in Central Pennsylvania, is currently recruiting for a Social Worker/Intake Specialist. This position will support two business lines, the Greater Harrisburg Healthy Start Program and Behavioral Health. This position serves as an intake specialist for the Greater Harrisburg Healthy Start Program, receiving initial referrals, conducting a comprehensive assessment and making recommendations for tiered case management services. In addition, this position provides coordination of services to adults and children receiving health care at Hamilton Health Center under the Behavioral Health business line.  This position will work in close collaboration with the patient’s behavioral health provider, medical provider and support staff.

Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) and experience in a clinical environment working directly in patient care and addressing sensitive topics, including but not limited to the following: HIV/AIDS; sexually transmitted infections; substance abuse; intimate partner violence; suicidal ideation.  Must be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds and have a good understanding of the challenges faced by the population the program serves. Must have clinical skills or aptitude in problem-solving and behavioral change strategies, including Motivational Interviewing and Behavioral Activation. Must be able to establish and maintain nonjudgmental, respectful relationships with clients, peers and other service providers, and communicate respect and empathy for cultural and lifestyle differences. Must have the ability and willingness to function independently and proactively in a primary health care setting, and to establish and maintain harmonious, productive working relationships with Center’s management, physicians, clinicians, and general public. Able to speak and listen over the telephone and travel between multiple facilities as needed. Bi-lingual Spanish speaking preferred.

Administrative Assistant

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to work under the guidelines of the Greater Harrisburg Healthy Start program. This position provides administrative support and includes preparing correspondence, grants support, presentation and reports development, maintaining website and Facebook account, maintaining service agreements and event scheduling.

Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate knowledge of special health care services, with experience in clinical or non-profit service delivery organizations preferred. Must be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds and have a good understanding of the challenges faced by the population the program serves. Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must be a self-starter demonstrating the ability to complete projects from beginning to end with minimal supervision.  Also must be a team player with strong organizational and communication skills, able to establish and maintain harmonious, productive working relationships with Center’s management, physicians, clinicians, and general public. Educational qualifications include a high school degree and experience in the area of administrative support of at least two years. Must be able to handle phones and have access to personal vehicle and be able to provide current child abuse clearance record. Bi-lingual Spanish speaking preferred.

IT Help Desk Analyst

Hamilton Health Center, Inc, a Federally Qualified Health Care center servicing residents in Central Pennsylvania, is currently recruiting for an IT Help Desk Analyst. This position conducts day-to-day IT operational and support activities and is the primary technical liaison with Hamilton Health Center employees. In addition, this position ensures peak operation of all managed information services by performing routine daily checks.

Qualifications include and Associates Degree in a related discipline or a minimum of one year working in a technical operating capacity focusing on IT infrastructure support operations; A+ certification is preferred. Must be able to demonstrate ability to perform day-to-day IT support activities including all triaging of IT infrastructure components to ensure critical systems availably and performance, equipment repair/replacement, software maintenance and other customer requests. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of Hamilton Health Center IT infrastructure components including Microsoft OS (Window 2K3/2K8 server, Exchange, Active Directory, XP-Pro, Windows 7, IE, Citrix, and other enabling technologies. Candidate should demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot end user issues via remote connectivity. Must be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds and be industrious. Also must be able to establish harmonious, productive working relationships with Center’s management, physicians, clinicians, and general public. Must be able to handle moderate physical activity, including handling of average weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than two (2) hours per day. Patient Advocate/Interpreter – Bi-Lingual

Hamilton Health Center, Inc., a health care center servicing residents in Central Pennsylvania, is currently recruiting for a bi-lingual Spanish speaking Interpreter –Patient Advocate.  The position assists in the resolution of patient complaints, improve patient flow by working with patients to complete forms, answer wait time questions by interfacing with medical staff, patient and assist health benefits activities as necessary and assist in translation and interpretation throughout the Center.

Must have a high school degree or equivalent, additional Associates degree or formal Social Service/Business/Technical training/education preferred. Minimum of one year experience in a patient customer contact position, medical background and medical interpretation certification and training preferred.  Experience in dealing with difficult customer situations and experience with Medical translation and interpretation required. Must be able to handle moderate physical activity and be able to stand/sit or walk as needed in the completion of daily duties. Must be able to speak and listen over the telephone, and interact with patients in friendly helpful manner.  Bi-lingual Spanish speaking required. Must be able to work extended hours including evening hours as needed.

Medical Assistant

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting an experienced Medical Assistant to help support our growing Clinical Departments. This position provides assistance to Providers with direct patient care in an ambulatory care clinic setting under the supervision of a team leader, including initial patient triage, registration, and administrative services, assists with direct patient care, and performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature, as dictated by established clinical protocol.

Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate knowledge of health care services, including understanding of MA role and have excellent medical terminology knowledge and basic data entry computer skills. Must be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds, be industrious and have good communication skills. Also must be able to establish and maintain harmonious, productive working relationships with Center’s management, physicians, clinicians, and general public. Must be a graduate of accredited medical assistant program and be CPR Certified or able to obtain certification within 6 months of job placement. Must have experience as Medical Assistant, be able to handle moderate physical activity, including handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day. Must be able to speak and listen over the telephone. Bi-lingual, Spanish required. Must be able to work some evening and other extended hours as needed.

Customer Service Patient Registration

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting for call center help in our Medical Registration Department. The purpose of this position is to schedule patient appointments, manage the Providers’ schedules in all medical departments according to set protocol of each department and direct all incoming calls of the PBX in a manner that will enhance corporate image and increase customer satisfaction.

Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of health care services, have excellent verbal and communication skills, have strong computer skills and able to work with high degree of accuracy in a high paced environment. Must be able to handle work related stress in a positive manner and able to apply critical thinking skills in problem solving, be dependable, reliable and professional. Must be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds and be able to establish and maintain harmonious, productive working relationships with Center’s management, physicians, clinicians, and general public.  Able to work some evenings and other extended hours as needed
