Human Resources Manager

Hamilton Health Center, Inc., is currently recruiting a Human Resources Manager.  This position is responsible for the development, recommendation, and implementation of Human Resources programs, including wage and salary administration, employee benefits, professional development, training, internship/externship programs, Human Resources Information System administration, Affirmative action , employee relations, recruitment, policies, record keeping, surveys and special program development and credentialing for non-billing matters, assuring provider staff meets FQHC standards. Must be able to demonstrate senior level HR generalist knowledge, experience in health care industry preferred, with previous supervisory or counseling experience desirable.  Prior experience with Affirmative Action, 5500 filings and retirement benefit fiduciary experience is preferred. Must be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds, be industrious and have good verbal and written communication skills.  Broad knowledge of organizational operations and policies and a high level of discretion, integrity and organizational skills required.  Ability to meet deadline, to concentrate and pay attention to details, organize and prioritize and work independently and schedule and produce quality work in a timely manner. Chief Medical Officer

Hamilton Health Center, Inc., is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead our clinical departments consisting of 20 doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, midwife, and behaviorists.  Reporting to the Chief Executive officer, the CMO is a member of the senior leadership team responsible for providing the clinical and cultural leadership necessary to deliver high quality care across the continuum of services with the aim to improve the health status of the populations served.  The CMO is responsible for leading the organization’s quality improvement initiatives and is the clinical strategist to build and strengthen the positive and mutually supportive relationship between the Health Center’s Board, administration and medical staff.

Hamilton Health Center is a not-for-profit multi-specialty Federally Qualified Health Center in Harrisburg, PA delivering primary and obstetrical care to over 25,000 people each year across four center locations.  Hamilton opened a 79,000 square foot state-of-the-art medical mall in 2012 creating significant opportunities for growth as a premiere health care provider in the region and as an excellent setting for urban medical education.

The ideal candidate will be a proven physician executive with a minimum of ten years clinical practice with at least five years of increasingly responsible leadership experience and a demonstrated track record of providing strategic clinical leadership.  Experience with a multi-specialty group practice, The CMO will be a Board certified MD or DO in family practice, pediatrics, or internal medicine and a graduate of an accredited medical school having completed an accredited residency program.  A Master’s degree in healthcare administration is preferred but not required.  He/she will be a systems-oriented thinker with the ability to analyze complex relationships and situations and promote innovative approaches to optimize the patient care experience. The successful candidate needs to be a highly engaged leader with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

Dentist

Hamilton Health Center has an immediate opening for a Dentist. Successful provider will provide efficient delivery of quality dental care to all patients of the Center.  Delivers standard dental care to patients utilizing the current dental processes of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interact with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standard of professional provider care.  Must be a graduate from an ADA accredited dental school with a DDS or DMD degree, hold a current or renewable PA dental license, have an unblemished record of licensure with the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry, have a current DEA or CPR certification, be FTCA eligible, able to be credentialed in the corporate credentialing programs and insurance plans and have at least five (5) years of dental practice experience in the private or public sector.  Incumbent must be flexible to meet the physical activity requirements and must be flexible for call coverage. Must have current child abuse and FBI clearances. Bi-Lingual Spanish preferred.

Health Educator

Hamilton Health Center, Inc., is currently recruiting for a Health Educator to work under the guidelines of the Healthy Start program. This position provides leadership on all training and provision of curriculum to program participants in accordance with guidelines defined in the grant.

Incumbent must be able to demonstrate knowledge of grant and social and health care services, including understanding of social worker role in relationship to clinical and health care services. Must be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds, be industrious and have good communication skills.  Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must be a self-starter, demonstrating the ability to complete projects from beginning to end with minimal supervision.  Also must be a team player with strong organizational and communication skills, able to establish and maintain harmonious, productive working relationships with Center’s management, physicians, clinicians, and general public.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s in human services or education or some graduate level work level work in human services or education with at least three years’ experience working in health or human service field. Prior experience in Healthy Start program preferred. Bi-Lingual preferred but not required. Position requires the ability to handle moderate physical activity, including handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing, sitting and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day. WIC - Nutritionist

Case Manager

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting for a Case Manager to work under the guidelines of the Healthy Start program. This position assists with recruiting program participants and provides case management support services to preconception, prenatal and inter-conception women, infants, and children and their families.

Educational qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in human services with a minimum of two years in human services work required. At least one years’ experience as a case worker preferred. Must have knowledge of community resources and programs and have respect for contributions and needs of multiple disciplines.  Must be able to establish and maintain nonjudgmental, respectful relationships with clients, peers and other service providers, and communicate respect and empathy for cultural and lifestyle differences. Must be able to establish and maintain harmonious, productive working relationships with Center’s management, physicians, clinicians, and general public. Able to demonstrate accurate, clear, and concise verbal and written communication, documenting confidentiality regulations as required, possessing basic computer skills.  Also, must be able to demonstrate initiative, motivation and autonomy. Must be able to provide child abuse clearance records. Must have access to personal transportation and have a valid driver’s license if operating company vehicles or driving clientele. Maternal Addiction Case Manager

Hamilton Health Center, Inc., is currently recruiting for a Maternal Addiction – Case Manager to work under the guidelines of the Baby Love program. This position provides formal case management services to eligible women during and after pregnancy and intervention as early in pregnancy as possible to promote a healthy pregnancy and positive birth outcomes.

Educational qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, or Case Management, Social Science, Psychology or Addictions, preferably holding a degree in Social Work. Medical Assistant

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting an experienced Medical Assistant to help support our growing Clinical Departments. This position provides assistance to Providers with direct patient care in an ambulatory care clinic setting under the supervision of a team leader, including initial patient triage, registration, and administrative services, assists with direct patient care, and performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature, as dictated by established clinical protocol.

Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate knowledge of health care services, including understanding of MA role and have excellent medical terminology knowledge and basic data entry computer skills. Must be a graduate of accredited medical assistant program and be CPR Certified or able to obtain certification within 6 months of job placement. Must have experience as Medical Assistant, be able to handle moderate physical activity, including handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day. Must be able to speak and listen over the telephone. Bi-lingual, Spanish required. Must be able to work some evening and other extended hours as needed.

Bilingual Customer Service Registration - Check Out

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting for the position of Customer Service Registration Window – Check Out, in our Billing Department. The purpose of this position is to check out all patients following their visit with a provider, verify accuracy in patient ‘superbill’ in the in-house system, collect payments from patients in a manner that maximizes patient collections and increase patient accountability, and schedule all follow up appointments according to set protocols of each department.

Must be detail oriented, have excellent verbal and communication skills, have strong computer skills, and able to work with high degree of accuracy in a high paced environment.  Must be able to handle work related stress in a positive manner and able to apply critical thinking skills in problem solving, be dependable, reliable and professional.  Must be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds and be able to establish and maintain harmonious, productive working relationships with Center’s management, providers, clinicians, and general public. Able to work some evening and other extended hours as needed.

High School graduate or GED required, Associates Degree or formal business/technical education preferred.  A minimum of one (1) years’ experience in a front end registration job preferred and minimum of one (1) years’ experience in a customer service based center atmosphere, general customer service, medical/dental registration or other related fields.  Must be able to sit for an extended period of time, and speak and listen over the telephone. Bi-lingual Spanish speaking required.

Customer Service Patient Registration - Call Center
