Billing Specialist I

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting for a Billing Specialist I. The Billing Specialist provides clerical support and is responsible for the submission of claims including posting of payments, denials, adjustments and claims submitting.

The Billing Specialist must be well organized and detail oriented, be able to demonstrate solid knowledge of Physician and Dental service billing and collection practices. Have basic knowledge of medical coding and third party operating procedures and practices and have strong knowledge of computer systems, and general business office procedures. Must be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds, be industrious and have good verbal and written communication skills. Also must be able to establish and maintain harmonious, productive working relationships with Center’s management, physicians, clinicians, and general public.

High School degree or equivalent, with at least one year experience working as billing specialist in a comparable industry required. Additional education in medical billing and coding from an accredited technical school preferred. Bi-lingual a plus. Billing Specialist II

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting for a Billing Specialist II. The Billing Specialist is responsible for the preparation and timely completion of appropriate billing forms for submission of payment of health services rendered by the Center’s Providers, including responsibilities on collecting, posting and managing account payments, submitting clean claims and following progress with applicable insurance companies, government programs and special programs.

Case Manager

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting for a Case Manager to work under the guidelines of the Healthy Start program. This position assists with recruiting program participants and provides case management support services to preconception, prenatal and inter-conception women, infants, and children and their families.
Educational qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in human services with a minimum of two years in human services work required. At least one years’ experience as a case worker preferred. Must have knowledge of community resources and programs and have respect for contributions and needs of multiple disciplines. Must be able to establish and maintain nonjudgmental, respectful relationships with clients, peers and other service providers, and communicate respect and empathy for cultural and lifestyle differences. Healthy Start Fatherhood Services Coordinator

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting for a Fatherhood Services Coordinator for our Health Start Program. This position serve as lead contact for Healthy Start fatherhood services, providing outreach, case management, coordination and follow up of services, and education specific to physical, mental, and social wellness of fathers/father figures.

IT Data Specialist

Medical Assistant

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting an experienced Medical Assistant to help support our growing Clinical Departments. This position provides assistance to Providers with direct patient care in an ambulatory care clinic setting under the supervision of a team leader, including initial patient triage, registration, and administrative services, assists with direct patient care, and performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature, as dictated by established clinical protocol.
Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate knowledge of health care services, including understanding of MA role and have excellent medical terminology knowledge and basic data entry computer skills. Must be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds, be industrious and have good communication skills. Must be a graduate of accredited medical assistant program and be CPR Certified or able to obtain certification within 6 months of job placement. Must have experience as Medical Assistant, be able to handle moderate physical activity, including handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day. Midwife

Nutrition Assistant

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting for a Nutrition Assistant. This position involves providing nutrition education and breastfeeding support to WIC eligible participants, as well as referrals to other social services organizations. The Nutrition Assistant works with the Nutritionists on completing WIC certifications as well as providing clerical support.

OB/GYN Physician

Hamilton Health Center a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), has an excellent opportunity available for a Provider of Women’s Health Services (OB/GYN). The Provider is responsible for direct specialized clinical patient care and for the Women’s Health Services Department. Responsibilities include clinical patient care, administrative collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Supervisor to establish clinical procedures and quality care. Must possess the ability to work well with others and to effectively communicate with patients and staff, both verbally and in writing. Demonstrate willingness to support the Center’s needs, balancing patient care with administrative and managerial duties. Capable of meeting deadlines, ability to concentrate with close attention to detail, organize, prioritize, and work independently, as well as schedule and produce work in a timely manner. Qualified candidate must be a graduate of an accredited School of Medicine with a degree of doctor of medicine, and completion of an internship at an approved hospital. Three years of clinical practice after residency preferred. Must be eligible or in possession of license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Board certified in recognized primary care medical specialty. Incumbent must complete the corporate credentialing process and be accepted by the local affiliated hospital. Psychiatrist, Part Time (20 Hours)

Hamilton Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), serving residents in Central Pennsylvania, is currently recruiting for a Part Time Psychiatrist (20 hours per week) reporting to the Chief Medical Officer.

This position provides integrated Behavioral Health Services to Hamilton Health Center’s patient population, and builds and maintains collaborative relationships with other members of the care team, including physicians, medical assistants, staff from behavioral health partner organization. Must have an active license to practice psychiatry in Pennsylvania and an active DEA number. Experience with electronic medical records required. Bi-lingual (Spanish-speaking) preferred. Security and Maintenance Tech

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting an experienced Security and Maintenance Tech. This position provides daily security oversight for main operational facility, assuring general safety of patients, staff, property and general directive guidance for public utilizing the Hamilton facility. Assist the Facilities Department in meeting the routine needs of the center by providing light inside and outside hands-on general maintenance support to all of Hamilton’s facilities.
Qualified candidates must have prior experience as a custodian/maintenance person, have experience in basic repairs such as plumbing, floor and ceiling tiles, cleaning, organizing supplies and storage area, experience in painting interior and exterior, and have basic carpentry repair experience. Must be able to understand and take information and directions from those communicating issues of concern without judgment or complaint, and work in harmony with management in the resolution of the issue. Prior working experience in a non-profit clinical environment and high school graduate or GED preferred. A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License required.

Social Media Outreach Worker

Hamilton Health Center is currently recruiting for a Social Media Outreach Worker (SMOW) for our HOPE Program. The Hamilton HOPE program treats HIV-infected individuals largely consisting of underserved minority groups, mainly African American and Latino. Their current HIV outreach involves their existing clinic population, local area high schools, jails and prisons with a focus on the MSM population. Their outreach efforts for the proposed project will focus on these two underserved communities living in the Harrisburg vicinity and in the whole of Dauphin County.

Educational qualifications include knowledge special health care services, with experience in clinical or non-profit service delivery organizations preferred. Must be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds and be comfortable working with individuals with HIV disease. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) as well as a self starter, A qualified candidate must be able to complete projects from beginning to end with minimal supervision. Extensive knowledge and understanding of on-line social media sites including: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram as well the knowledge to instruct patients on all aspects of the planned mobile application.
