The HOPE program provides expert HIV care and support in a confidential community setting. Our caring medical providers, nurses, and social workers are here to help. We can help you get the care and resources you need to live life to the fullest.

Services We Offer

HIV Medical Care

Our providers are experts at providing HIV care and care for your whole health. They take the time to listen to your needs and worries. Your provider will work with you to make a plan to help you stay on track.

HIV care should fit your schedule. We offer flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends. Lab and pharmacy services are available on site.

HIV Medical Care

Managing a chronic medical condition can be hard. Our staff can help you stay on top of your doctor’s visits and medications.

Our case managers can help you with:

  • Applying for insurance
  • Copays and deductibles
  • Food
  • Housing
  • Emergency assistance
  • Travel to and from appointments

HIV Support Group

Talking to someone who understands your experience is important. HOPE offers a peer support group for people living with HIV in Central Pennsylvania. Meetings are held twice monthly. To learn more or find out how you can join call 717-230-3949.

HIV Testing

Over 1 million people in the United States are living with HIV. There were 37,600 new HIV diagnoses in 2014. Studies show that as many as 1 in 5 people living with HIV don’t know their status.

The CDC recommends everyone between the ages of 13 and 64 get tested for HIV.

HOPE offers confidential HIV testing every Monday-Friday 8:30am- 4:30pm.

HIV testing is private, and free, with results in 20 minutes.

Community Outreach and Education

HOPE offers fun, interactive HIV education programs to community groups. Topic include HIV basics, prevention, testing, and safer sex. Rapid HIV testing is also available.
